Honorary Queen

The highest honor for our Royalty is to vie for our title of
Honorary Queen!

Honorary Queen will be determined by several factors including
charity work, appearances, and referrals.

How to enter:
1.  Submit your intent to run for this title as soon as you decide to enter the competition.
2.  Referrals must list your name on their entry form to receive credit.  Each referral is worth 10 points.
3.  Each appearance must be documented with a photo, news article, or be verifiable in some way.  You must be representing Compassionate Crowns by sash and/or crown during your appearance.  Any event lasting more than one day, is considered the same appearance.  You will not receive points for each day at that event.  Each appearance is worth 5 points. (example: your hometown festival runs from Thurs-Sun and you are there 3 times over the weekend - this is still one event - you will not receive points for every time you go to the festival.)
4.  Charity and/or volunteer work must be documented.  Submit a photo, news article or thank you letter as verification of your involvement.  You must be representing Compassionate Crowns by sash and/or crown while volunteering.  Charity/Volunteer work is worth 15 points each.  (example: you volunteer at a nursing home 2 days a week - this is one event - you will not receive points for each day at the nursing home)
5. Anyone doing fundraising for Compassionate Crowns will receive 1 point for every $5 raised.  All monies must be turned in to the director at the end of the fundraiser to have points awarded.  Please submit a photo of you child during their fundraiser.  Either while they are collecting funds or when they make their donation.
6.  You will only receive points once per event.  You will not receive points for each news article, photo and thank you letter for the same event.  (example:  you ride in the hometown parade and submit a picture, but the newspaper also prints a photo of your child in the parade - this is one event - you will only receive points once for this event)

7.  Place all photos, documentation, flyers, news articles etc into a binder and submit for judging at the 2010 Mini-National Pageant.  Scrapbook is worth 25 points.
8.   Anyone competing for the Honorary Queen title must appear at the 2010 Mini-National Pageant for the entire weekend.  They do not have to be entered in competition, but they must be present throughout the event.
9.  You must contact the director prior to each appearance.  Photos/documentation should  be sent to director@compassionatecrowns.org
10. The contestant with the most points at the end of the Pageant Calendar year will be crowned Compassionate Crowns Honorary Queen.  Winner will receive a beautiful crown to wear during their reign, custom sash, and scepter.

11. This title is open to anyone who has competed in a Compassionate Crowns Pageant during the 2009-2010 pageant calendar year.
12.  You must have a minimum of 50 points to be eligible to win this title.
Please submit any questions, comments or concerns to director@compassionatecrowns.org.

Thank You & Good Luck
