The following is a complete set of rules and instructions.  Please adhere to all rules to the fullest extent.  If you have any questions after reading all rules and information, please feel free to email the director.

Schedule
At this time it is impossible to post a complete schedule.
A detailed schedule will be emailed prior to the pageant date.
For your convenience we recommend that you stay with the hotel where the pageant is being held.
We must have a minimum of 20 entries to hold each pageant.  If fewer than 20 contestants the director has the option
to combine awards, reschedule or cancel.

Divisions will be as follows:
Girls Divisions:
0-2yrs *  3-4yrs * 5-6yrs * 7-8yrs * 9-11yrs  * 12-14yrs  * 15yrs & up
Divisions may be combined with fewer than 5 contestants
Divisions may be split with more than 7 contestants

Boys Divisions:
0-2yrs * 3-4yrs * 5-6yrs * 7yrs & up
Divisions may be combined with fewer than 5 contestants
Divisions may be split with more than 7 contestants

Age Divisions:  There is no fallback allowed for age divisions.
Please bring proof of age in case it is questioned.

We will award:
1 Ultimate Grand Supreme
1 Grand Supreme
2 Mini-Supremes * 0-6yrs * 7 yrs & up
1 Overall Most Beautiful/Handsome
1 Overall Personality
7 Girls Beauty Supreme: 1 in each division listed above
4 Boys Handsome Supreme: 1 in each division listed above

Competition Information:
Every contestant will compete in Beauty/Handsome attire.  Each contestant will be judged individually on stage.  There is no line-up.  We believe each child should be judged on their own individuality.  Therefore, we do not place them in line-up to be compared to the other children in their respective division.

Beauty:   Contestants can wear flower girl, Sunday best or glitz dresses to compete in Beauty.  Boys can wear tuxedo, suit or attire fit for a special occasion such as a wedding.

Optional Outfit of Choice:   Contestants will compete in an outfit of their choice.  This can be anything from their Halloween costume to their pajamas.  It's your choice.  There will be no pro-am, splits or kicks above the knee. 

 Optional Swimwear:  Each contestant will compete in a swimsuit.  No string bikinis or thongs.  Swimsuit should be age appropriate and fit well.  Judges are instructed to deduct for inappropriate swimwear.

Optional Spring Attire:  This can be any attire Spring related.  No short shorts, spaghetti straps or belly shirts.  Easter Dresses, Spring Formals etc

Optional Talent:  will be judged on originality, ability for age/age appropriateness and overall appeal/first impression.

Optional Photogenic:  For this event each contestants will submit a photo no larger than 8 1/2" X 11" and no smaller than 4 X 6 at registration.  Judging will be based on,  facial beauty, clarity, and overall appeal.  Photos should be removed from any framing.

Optional Portfolio:  For this event each contestant will submit a bound photo album with no more than 8 photos no larger than 8 1/2" X 11".  Judging will be based on facial beauty, variety, and overall appeal.

Optional Composite:  For this event each contestant will submit a composite photo no larger than 8 1/2" X 11".   Composites should not be framed, but may be submitted in protective sleeves.

Optional Overall Most Beautiful:  This title will be determined by the highest facial beauty only score.

Optional Overall Personality:  This title will be determined by the highest personality/poise

Definition of terms:
Facial beauty is based on the judges opinion of your child on that day with whatever make-up, hairstyle, and/or attire you decide best suits your child.
Attire should be age appropriate, flattering in color and fit well.  Judges are instructed to deduct for inappropriate attire.
Personality will be judged for all contestants.  This is their demeanor on stage.  They should be happy, excited, dancing and want to perform for the judges.
Overall Appeal/First Impression will be judged for each contestant.  Again, this is a judges opinion of your child the day of competition.
 

Awards: 

Ultimate Grand Supreme:  This title is determined by the total votes collected from the sale of good luck wishes.  All monies raised must be turned in at registration and the contestant raising the most money will be crowned our Ultimate Grand Supreme.  Winner will  receive a Gorgeous Crown, sash, and Custom Sash Pin.  This is the only title that can be double crowned.  You must raise a minimum of $100 to be eligible for this title.

Grand Supreme:  This title is determined by adding the Beauty and Highest three optionals.  Winners will receive a Gorgeous Crown, sash, gift, and goodie bag.

Mini-Supremes:  This title is determined by adding the Beauty and Highest three optionals.  Winner will receive a Gorgeous Crown, sash, gift, and goodie bag.

Overall Most Beautiful:  This title will be determined by the facial beauty score ONLY.  Winner will receive a Gorgeous Crown, sash, gift, and goodie bag. You must be entered in this event separately to be eligible for awards.  This title will be pulled after the Grand Supreme and Mini-Supreme titles have been determined. 

Overall Titles:  These titles are determined by the Highest Score in each event. You must be entered in each overall separately to be eligible to win awards.  Winners will receive a Crown, sash, gift, and goodie bag.

Beauty Division:  This title is determined by only the beauty score in each division.  This title will be pulled after the Grand Supreme, Mini Supreme, Overall Most Beautiful and Overall titles have been determined.  Winners will receive a Crown, sash, gift, and goodie bag.

Runner-Up / Participant:  This title is determined by only the beauty score in each division.  This title is pulled only after all other titles have been awarded.  We will award Runner-ups from each division.  Winners will receive a Tiara, gift, and goodie bag.

Score sheets:
Every contestant will be able to view the master score sheet following the pageant, only after crowning photos have been taken.  Individual score sheets will be mailed within 3 weeks of the pageant.  Please provide a self-addressed stamped envelope at registration if you would like to have your individual score sheets mailed to you. They will NOT be emailed.

Line-up:
Line up order will be determined by date received of deposit, NOT entry form.  You must send a deposit with your entry to be eligible for competition.  First deposit received will have first choice in line-up.  Second deposit, second choice in line-up and so on.  Your entry is not considered accepted until your deposit has been received by our National office.  Simply sending in a registration form will NOT hold your place in any division.

Rules and Regulations:

1.     Deposits will be accepted in the form of Paypal, Money Order or Cashiers Check ONLY!  Please make M.O. or Cashiers Check payable to Joyce DeBoer.  Paypal should be sent to jldeboer69@ntslink.net. 

2.     All deposits are non-refundable.   Refunds will only be issued if the pageant is cancelled by the director.  If the pageant is rescheduled and you cannot attend, your deposit will remain good for 1 year to date of the original pageant date.  If for some reason, the director fails to hold another pageant, you will be issued a refund of your original deposit.  Avoid the late fee and enter early!

3.     All judge’s scores are final.  Any act of poor sportsmanship will result in immediate disqualification.  This includes but is not limited to: bashing (before or after the event), creating a scene or confronting judges.  This will exclude you from any refund and cause your title to be revoked.  Please remember we are all spokespersons for this event. 

4.     You will have 1 1/2 minutes on stage for Beauty and 1 minute for all other events except Talent.  Talent will be limited to 3 minutes.

5.     Stage will be in a “T” format with 5 X’s.

6.     In the event of a tie for Grand Supreme, the beauty score will be used to break the tie, then highest optional.

7.     Contestants 0-2 must have a chaperone on stage for all events including crowning.  Chaperone's please wear clothing appropriate for stage.  No low cut blouses, low rises jeans or tube tops.  These types of clothing are distracting to the judges and while you are not being scored, it draws the attention of the judge away from your child.

8.  All spectators must have a door badge.  Door badges are $10.00 and are used to help with the cost of renting a ballroom. Contestants and children under 2 do not require a door badge.

9.   To reduce costs, everyone is welcome to bring their own camera at this time.

10.  You are responsible for your own guests.  Please be sure they adhere to these rules and regulations as you do not want their behavior to affect your child’s title. 

11.  Early deadline to enter is Jan 31.  We would like to order custom crowns and will make a decisions at this time if there are enough entered to place a custom order.   Anyone entering after this date will be required to pay the $20 late fee.  Please do not wait to enter.  We must have deadlines this far out to order custom crowns.

12.  No child will leave empty-handed!  Every child will receive a Tiara, gift, and goodie bag.

13.  Sibling discount is 30% off.  Child entering the most optional events will be charged full price, then discount will apply to the second and subsequent children.  Discounts may not be combined, only highest discount will be applied.

14.  We must have a minimum of 20 entries to hold each pageant.  If fewer than 20 contestants the director has the option to combine awards, reschedule or cancel.  ONLY ACCEPTING 7 CONTESTANTS PER DIVISION.  If more than the allowed number enter before the end of registration, the DIVISION WILL BE SPLIT.

15. MOST IMPORTANT ~~  Please be sure your child is on time to stage! One person late will hold up the entire event.  If this becomes a problem, points will be deducted for anyone late to stage.  Thank you!

This is a natural to semi-glitz system and all contestants should be aware that Hair and Makeup will be allowed but is NOT expected.  This is planned to be a stress free event.
